Our Lending Process

Step 1: Credit Guide & Privacy Consent

You’ll receive an email link to our secure portal, Finance Vault, where you can access Credit Guide and Privacy Consent form and accept our Privacy Consent Form.

Step 2: Broker Fact Find

Fill out the Fact Find in Finance Vault, including all assets, debts (personal and business), and ongoing commitments like HECS, Afterpay, leases, and tax debts.

Step 3: Supporting Documents

Once Step 1 and 2 are complete, Finance Vault will update with a checklist of supporting documents needed to assess your borrowing capacity. We’ll guide you to ensure everything is submitted correctly.

Step 4: Loan Strategy Meeting

After verifying your documents, you’ll receive a link to book a strategy session with our Broker. In this session, we’ll discuss your goals, loan structure, and borrowing capacity.

Step 5: Product Comparison

We’ll send you a report comparing at least three loan options, along with Mark’s recommendation tailored to your needs.

Step 6: Application Handover

Once you choose a lender, your file is handed over to our Broker Support Manager, who manages your application through to settlement.

Step 7: Signing Documents

We will prepare your Credit Proposal and Loan Application for you to sign.

Step 8: Lodgement/Pre-approval

After signing, we lodged your application for pre-approval.

Step 9: Loan Approval & Final Steps

Once your loan is approved, we will guide you through the next steps—reviewing the loan agreement, confirming you understand all terms, and helping you arrange any required insurance (like LMI). We’ll also assist with setting up your repayments and offer tips for managing your loan effectively over time.

Step 10: Settlement & Ownership

When all documents are in place, your settlement is finalised. This is when the loan is advanced and, if you’re purchasing, ownership of the property is officially transferred to you. We recommend engaging a solicitor or conveyancer to ensure everything runs smoothly. After settlement, your lender will provide online access to your loan, and you’ll begin your repayment journey with confidence.
